Victoria Franklin has achieved it all in the U.S. college world. She was a rare dual sport student-athlete recruited for rowing and soccer. The true Mustang graduated from one of the most prestigious University environments in the USA, Southern Methodist University (SMU).

As a Simmons School of Education and Development student at SMU, Victoria excelled, earning near straight A’s while completing her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Sport Management. She then continued her studies, completing a Master of Science in Sport Management through SMU’s highly ranked Cox School of Business.

As a Mustang, Victoria was an All-Conference candidate academically and excelled on the water. She led the rowing team to win three consecutive American Athletic Conference Championships and National appearances. The Queensland native competed consistently in the top boats and was an NCAA DI stand-out. During her time the Hilltop  Victoria drove the team to achieve the highest ranking in program history, solidifying the Mustangs in the Top 10 of the national rankings.

Victoria was bestowed with the SMU Athletics Women’s Perseverance Pony Award and named in the American Athletic Conference’s Boat of the Year for two straight years. This culminated in her selection to the Under 23 U.S.-based Australian Rowing Selection Camp.
