U.S. College Women’s Skiing Scholarships

Interested in competing in U.S. College Skiing?

Aussie Athletes Agency creates personalised opportunities for you to compete in U.S. college skiing!

What to expect when competing in U.S. college skiing:    

Spring Semester:
  • Skiing is a Winter sport, with event held in the second half of the U.S. school year.
  • Competitions are usually held between February and mid-March.
  • You can expect to play approximately 8-10 events in an average season.
  • You will also be practicing up to 20 hours per week during the season.
Fall Semester:
  • The Fall is the off-season for skiing.
  • You can expect to practice 8 hours a week during the majority of Fall.
  • Weight lifting and conditioning will be required in addition to technical training in preparation for the upcoming season.

NCAA – National Collegiate Athletic Association

The NCAA endorses three divisions of women’s collegiate skiing.

Division I
  • Currently sponsor 12 women’s skiing programs
  • 7 full skiing scholarships are available per women’s skiing team
Division II
  • Currently sponsor 7 women’s skiing programs
  • 7 full skiing scholarships available
Division III
  • Currently sponsor 16 women’s skiing programs
  • Financial aid is available but is not considered skiing scholarship
